Stanford and Corringham Boiler Room Community
From 24-7Wiki
The Stanford & Corringham boiler room community launched on 1st April 2007.
It is a non-residential community of prayer, mission, hospitality, and creativity, based around a house 217 Southend Road, Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.
A rhythm of prayer takes place in the house at 7am, 10am, and 21:30pm on weekdays. We also hold regular 24-hour prayer times from 1pm Friday to 1pm Saturday, and occasional 24-7 prayer weeks.
There are 3 bedrooms available for hospitality, a prayer room, a creative arts studio, and a kitchen plus dining room. We actively support the Corringham Bar'n'bus project as a missional outreach and the Thurrock Besom as a local expression of Justice and Mercy. We are connected with numerous prayer, mission, and justice projects and events which we support in prayer and practically.
The boiler room community is supported by a number of different local churches.
