To prevent illegal employment, each new member of staff will be required to show their passport so that a copy can be taken by the General Manager.

The General Manager will keep a photocopy or electronic copy on record, and if relevent, a copy of the staff member's United Kingdom immigration status document (and, in time, their ID card), showing that they are allowed to work.

No migrant will be allowed to work for 24-7 Prayer if the conditions on their permission to stay (or the migrant's lack of permission to stay) mean that they are not allowed to do the job. Any migrant who stops being allowed to do the job for any reason will also have their employment terminated.

The General Manager will keep a record of the staff member's passport and any relevant immigration status document in their staff file. The expiry date of any permission to stay of a migrant worker will be diarised, and discussed with the worker near the end of the period of their permission to stay. Any staff member who fails to produce a necessary extension in their permission to stay will have their employment terminated.

Any migrant worker will be made aware that they should notify the General Manager of any changes to their United Kingdom residential address, telephone number, and mobile telephone number. These details will be held in their staff file. he General Manager will contact the worker every 6 months to confirm the details are up to date.
