Cardholder data security

The following policy should be adhered to at all times for data security purposes, whether you are an employee of 24-7 Prayer, a contractor or a volunteer.

  • Never store cardholder data electronically. If you ever handle card details when taking an online payment over the phone or in person, only retain them for the duration of the transaction and then destroy the information beyond retrieval.
  • Only enter cardholder details into Worldpay or Paypoint on a computer with current virus protection installed.
  • Never store card details on a personal electronic device (USB drive, Phone etc.)
