The Calgary Boiler Room is based around a Community House.
Led by Andy Wilson, 12 people live together, share a rhythm of prayer and express the six practices of the Boiler Room Rule together.
The house lives by an agreed way/rule of life to live together underneath God's headship. The focus of our rule really is simple in that it's about Prayer and Welcome. The practice will be 24 Hrs of prayer every Saturday and then prayer 4 nights a week, all facilitated by the [um]monks (Andrew in our house' term for those of us living here). There are other substantial points that we all came to agree upon too, a way of sharing responsibility in the house with regard to eating, chores etc, all of which are every much as spiritual as they are physical, in the same light as our prayer being every bit about being physically walked out as it is about being spiritual.
